Individual Investors

Thank you for your continued support of the Uniden Group.

We would like to express our heartfelt sympathy to all sufferers affected by the March 2011’s Great East Japan Earthquake, and sincerely hope for the earliest possible recovery of the devastated areas.

Unfortunately, the support we could give was very limited, but we propose that one element of our social contribution to help sufferers will be to achieve higher earnings.

We have normalized our business processes by concentrating on improving the quality and productivity of the Viet Nam factory which constituted the biggest issues for losses over the last 4 years. In addition, we have focused on human management issues, bringing in a right-person-in-the-job policy.

As the result of these challenges, we could make our operating profit, ordinary profit and net profit positive in previous fiscal year that ended March 31, 2011. Also completed Debt-Free operation by clearing off loans in yen and minimizing impact of exchange rate fluctuations.

Pentagon Management comprising five headquarters: Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing and Administration – functioning as the center of business implementation for the Uniden group, and united for the accomplishment of clear business targets.

To drive Pentagon Management efficiently, we will introduce a new Enterprise Resource Planning system based on the use of a Cloud Server and will maximize every and every business opportunity with speedy decision-making and resolutions made by Executive Officers in five headquarters.

We are projecting larger sales, operating profit, ordinary profit and net profit in this fiscal year even under the dark clouds of an uncertain world economy.

The Uniden group will keep challenging to improve profitability to realize increases in both sales and profits.
